I am a recent graduate from SAIC, I explore patterns and textures that mirror nature and focus on sustainable practices. I take inspiration from Scottish folklore and hope to create both ready to wear as well as accessories and couture.

WHAT INSPIRES ME
Through storytelling we connect with the people and the land of a community. My work signifies a long standing entanglement with the oral tradition of folklore. in this way stories pass through people and remain after we are released from our bodies and disengaged from our earthly voices.
my main focus in the construction/appearance of my work is comfort, sustainability, the modern meeting the traditional, controlled distressed edges to mimic natural landscapes, and intense fabric manipulation to align with my influences.
